Tour Details

Day 1: Marrakech ➝ Ait Ben Haddou ➝ Skoura ➝ Dades Valley

Begin your journey into southern Morocco by traveling through the High Atlas. Small Berber villages and terraces cling to the mountain slopes as you approach Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified mud-brick jewel featured in world-famous films.

After time to explore and enjoy lunch, continue to Ouarzazate for a quick look at the Taourirt Kasbah, then pass through the fertile Skoura oasis and the fragrant Valley of Roses before settling in the Dades region for the night.

Day 2: Dades Valley ➝ Todra Gorges ➝ Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Desert Night)

Travel deeper into Morocco’s south through palm groves and kasbah-lined roads until you reach Tinghir and the towering walls of the Todra Gorges.

Continue toward Merzouga, gateway to the mighty Erg Chebbi dunes. After a welcome tea, mount your camel and trek into the golden desert for a magical evening. Enjoy dinner, music, and storytelling beneath a sky filled with stars.

Day 3: Merzouga ➝ Ziz Valley ➝ Azrou ➝ Fez

Wake to a stunning sunrise over the Sahara. After breakfast, leave the dunes behind and journey north past rocky plateaus, green oases, and dramatic desert landscapes.

Stop in the cedar forests near Azrou, where friendly Barbary macaques roam, before continuing to Fez, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural heart, for your overnight stay.

Day 4: Full Day Exploring the Imperial City of Fez

Spend the day delving into the wonders of Fez. Discover architectural marvels like the Royal Palace gates, take in panoramic views from Borj Sud, and venture into the labyrinthine medina, a UNESCO treasure filled with markets, medieval madrasas, craft workshops, and sacred monuments.

Enjoy the city’s vibrant atmosphere before relaxing at your Riad for the evening.

Day 5: Fez ➝ Volubilis ➝ Chefchaouen

Cross fertile plains to reach Volubilis, one of North Africa’s most impressive Roman archaeological sites, rich in mosaics and ancient history.

Then continue into the Rif Mountains and arrive in Chefchaouen, where the blue-washed streets and peaceful charm make for an enchanting overnight stay.

Day 6: Chefchaouen ➝ Casablanca or Return to Marrakech

Enjoy the morning discovering the beauty of Chefchaouen’s medina; its calming shades of blue, cozy cafés, and mountain views. After some free time, travel toward Casablanca to end your journey.

If you prefer, arrangements can be made to conclude the tour in Marrakech or an alternative city along the route.
