Tour Details

Day 1: Tangier → Chefchaouen

Start your journey in Tangier, a fascinating coastal entry point to Morocco, before driving into the lush Rif Mountain range. Along the road, enjoy picturesque landscapes of green hills and Berber villages until you reach Chefchaouen, beloved for its mesmerizing blue-painted medina. Wander through narrow, peaceful streets filled with artisan shops and traditional houses with Spanish-Andalusian influence. Take time to explore symbolic spots such as the main fortress square, local markets, and charming viewpoints that overlook the entire town. Evening at leisure to soak in Chefchaouen’s magical atmosphere.

Day 2: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Moulay Idriss → Fez

After breakfast, continue your journey south toward the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, where you can walk between remarkably preserved arches, columns, and mosaics that tell stories of the empire’s presence in North Africa. Next, visit the hilltop settlement of Moulay Idriss, one of Morocco’s most important pilgrimage towns, offering stunning panoramic views. After lunch, resume the drive to Fez, a city known for its deep heritage and traditional urban life. Upon arrival, settle into the medina area and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Day 3: Fez Sightseeing → Ifrane → Cedar Forest → Midelt

Dedicate the morning to a full exploration of Fez, including its dense labyrinth of alleys, bustling souks, ancient madrasas, tanneries, artisan workshops, and historic mosques. After lunch, journey toward the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in Ifrane, a remarkably neat and alpine-style town with lush parks and clean air. Continue deeper into the mountains to the cedar forest near Azrou, home to friendly Barbary macaques that often interact with visitors. Enjoy scenic nature stops before reaching Midelt, a quiet highland town where you will unwind and prepare for the desert journey ahead.

Day 4: Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga (Camel Trek & Camp)

Travel through dramatic rocky landscapes and mountain passes before descending into the vast Ziz Valley, lined with date palms and ancient fortified villages. After photo opportunities, continue toward Merzouga on the edge of the Sahara. Enjoy a welcome tea and prepare for your unforgettable desert experience. Climb atop camels for a slow trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, arriving at your camp just in time for a dramatic desert sunset. Enjoy dinner, local rhythms played on drums, and a peaceful night beneath a breathtaking star-filled sky.

Day 5: Merzouga → Rissani → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley

Wake early to admire the sunrise glowing over dunes, then ride camels back to Merzouga for breakfast and a refreshing break. Continue to Rissani, once a major caravans gateway, and explore its authentic markets full of spices, crafts, and desert products. Travel onward through vast palm groves to the Todra Gorges — a towering canyon with steep red cliffs carved by the Todra River, ideal for scenic walks and photography. Later, arrive in Dades Valley, known for its rock formations and kasbah-lined landscapes, and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by natural beauty.

Day 6: Dades Valley → Rose Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech

After breakfast, drive through the fertile Rose Valley, where rose petals are harvested in spring to produce fragrant oils and cosmetics. Continue to Ouarzazate, where movie studios have hosted countless international productions. Head to Ait Ben Haddou, the iconic clay fortress village recognized by UNESCO and featured in famous films and TV series. After exploring the narrow pathways of this ksar, cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi N’Tichka Pass, enjoying panoramic stops before reaching the lively red city of Marrakech in the evening.

Day 7: Marrakech Sightseeing → Airport Departure

Depending on your flight time, spend the day visiting Marrakech’s top landmarks such as its enchanting palaces, lush gardens, Koutoubia Mosque, and the legendary Jemaa el-Fnaa square, filled with street performers, markets, and traditional food.
